Ali is watching an ant doing laps in his water glass. "If we had a hundred ants in here," he says, then pauses, distracted by the one ant. "If we had a hundred ants in here, they would swim."
He dumps the water out and adds more. "I want to see if it survives or not." "It's walking on water! It's like this is ice to an ant. And this is like a dream to it. Oh man, he's flying. Mommy, the ants flying. He's flying, and he's like 'anh, anh, I'm flying."
Now he is encouragin the ant in a quiet voice- "go on little ant." yeah, you won, you won."
