Leila's school is doing a canned food drive, and the class with the most cans wins something special. Last night she told me her class is in first place, reminding us we needed to get some cans together. She went through the pantry and gathered up some, and then she made plans to go shopping today for more- with a list, and everything.
This morning she got her cans together and said she remembered that she was so excited last night because of the cans. No, because we were going shopping for more today after school. "And I'll bring my money," she said.
