Yesterday we walked to the store for a few things. I take the kids with me since there are samples throughout and a free snack at the end. About half a block out, Ali started complaining, but he didn't want to go home. Half way there he said "Pick me," and told me he wanted to sleep. I refused to carry him, so Leila volunteered to hold him while he slept. She put her arm around his shoulders, he put his around her waist, leaned his head in, and closed his eyes, and they walked along.
Too bad I hadn't brought my camera.
