I've been taking notes so here is some catch up posting

One morning Ali came into the bedroom, arms spread wide around his high chair tray. He was telling me he wanted breakfast! Later he looked at my empty cereal bowl and clearly said, "all gone." A few days later at Leila's ballet class, a bigger boy came over to me and said, "Excuse me, is he your son?" When I said yes, he told me that he had given Ali the ball and he had very clearly said, "Thank you." (He's a sweet boy who likes to play with Ali, and knows how. Last week he was disappointed that I hadn't brought him.)
Leila sat down next to me and said, "I'm exhausted. I'm exhausted of all the toys you have to clean up." Me too.
She is also getting into repeating things over and over. In the park a few weeks ago she kept saying "kiss the girl" to this boy and then laughing. He didn't mind too much, but I get annoyed with her sometimes.
She also went through a pickle eating faze and wanted them all the time. Now we've run out and I forgot to buy her more.
