Leila has been bewailing all the time she wasted when she was younger watching t.v. Now she spends her time reading and rereading books- lately, one of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid stories. I think the boy is annoying, but she finds them humorous.
A few weeks ago she told me, while on the topic of how fast weekend days speed by:
"Video games aren't entertaining. Well, they are, but they don't make memories."
On another subject-
"I hate that job."
Me- "But you're good at it.
Leila- "A woman can be good at a job and still hate it."
Me- "Really?"
Leila- " Well, I'm a woman."
