Ali was so excited about the movie I put on that he said, "My heart is beating fast, right here."
He said then that it wasn't because he was excited, but just now I asked him again, and he said that was it and, "It was getting energy."
H and I were out of town for a few days, and the kids were with Grandma and Grandpa, which was fabulous. I don't think they really missed me much. On Thursday when I picked Leila up from school (last day!) she said, "I was excited to see you yesterday, but now I want to see Grandma and Grandpa." Alas, they had already left.
It's hot. Big surprise there. Lots of swimming and indoor crafts and museum visits on the agenda for this month.
