"You aren't going to make a cake for me for my next birthday," Ali says to me because I won't let him do what he wants to do. Is he punishing me? Or bargaining we me? I just don't get it. We used to say things like, "I'm not going to invite you to my Snoopy birthday party," but that doesn't seem to be what he means.
Earlier he wanted some tape, and he explained an elaborate plan he had to connect his scooter and his "bike" and ride them both at once. He did NOT like it that I wouldn't let him have any tape.
