When he was one

"Mommy, did you step on a sting ray?"
"Yes."
"Do you still have the scar?"
"Yes."
"But I don't have a scar anymore."
"Did you step on a sting ray, Ali?"
"Yes."
"When?" And then I remember his standard line. "When you were one?"
"Yes."
So far, Ali has lead quite an exciting life, though most of it happened when he was one. Pretty much anything I have done, he's done, too. It's nice we share the same interests, and obviously a vivid imagination, as well.
