Ali can't stand it that I'm not taking his picture, above. So he turns on the waterworks. When I focus the lense on him, however, he manages this expression:
Um. I didn't realize she was putting her just licked candles back into the cake until I told her to share, and she told me she had licked them all. "There isn't any icing on them, anyway," she told me. Determined to help me decorate, she had finally settled for carving a suble L into the cake that we then put the candles into, thus removing all icing from that vicinity.
